This week in class my teacher gave us assignment to make come up with an Idea for a project on water. The group that I was in decided that we would have an Earth Day Celebration. Our Goal is to raise awareness about global water issues. This celebration would consist of having a contest to see who could bring collect the most plastic bottled waters and soda cans for recycling. We will give out a prize for the person who does this.
We also have some more thing that we will be doing such as having a blind taste test. You will be tasting different brands of bottled water and tap water. We will be campaigning against plastic water bottles, and promote the use of reusable water bottles. Lastly, we will create awareness about the people who do not have clean drinking water in different countries and tell people how they can help.
